Clean the leather thoroughly with a damp cloth.
Allow the leather to air dry (do not allow it to dry near a heater or fireplace, as the leather may become brittle!).
We recommend applying Fat Bear directly to the leather with your finger, so you can feel whether the leather has absorbed enough of the fat. The fat also becomes more supple due to body heat and penetrates deeper into the leather.
Alternatively, Fat Bear can also be applied with a cloth.
Allow Fat Bear to soak into the leather and repeat the process if necessary.
